Roamer/File/Editor©, developed in Visual Basic and C++, was created as a test tool to view, create and modify roamer record files. Although this timesaving tool was initially designed to provide developers and testers with a fast, accurate way to work with the new TAP3 data, Roamer/File/Editor© is currently available with all TAP and CIBERNET record formats. This software provides the ability to review and manipulate data through user-friendly on-line screens. The operator selects a file to be uploaded to the database, whereupon data can be easily reviewed and modified; the file is then ready for processing.

Using Windows technology, RFE displays data such as ASN.1 on user-friendly screens. TSS experience ensures the best use of the on-line functionality to easily and quickly complete any data preparation or correction task. RFE significantly improves productivity associated with reviewing, building and correcting roamer files. Studies show that when editing data with Roamer File Editor©, a timesavings of over 86% can be realized when compared with the use of a text converter or manual review and manipulation of the data.
